Pool Plastering Denver
Pool Plastering no single pool repair that you can do will make your pool look more beautiful than re-plastering your pool. You may have forgotten how beautiful your pool can be, and pool plastering takes only a few days to do and you’ll be back in your pool.
Draining the pool is the first thing we do and we’ll do this at night and we’ll begin working on your pool the following morning.
The first step is cleaning the pool because there can be no oil dirt, or any other stains on the sides and bottom of the pool, and we acid wash and pressure clean the pool as in cleaning and prepping the pool to be re-plastered.
We spend quite a bit of time going over all the surfaces of your pool looking for hollow areas, and we’ll break them out and prep the area to receive the new plaster surface.
If were replacing the pool tile as part of the pool remodeling we’re doing for you, we’ll remove the old pool tile; if not we use concrete saws to cut around all the tile where they meet the pool plaster and prep the edges so the plaster will bond to your existing tile.
Installing new pool tile is the next step if you’re getting new tile, as well as any other pool accessories like skimmers and main drains. If you’re not we’ll do the same prep around your existing fixtures as we did around the pool tile.
Applying the bond coat is the most important step in the pool plastering process, because it’s important that the new pool plaster bonds to the existing plaster that’s left after we clean the pool.
We then apply 3/8” to 1’2” of plaster to all the surfaces of your pool, and we spend quite a bit of time making sure all the surfaces of your pool receive a hard trowel finish.
The most important step is refilling your pool with clean water, and balancing the chemicals in your pool; this is very important because the new pool plaster must be cure correctly.
Brushing your pool surfaces that have been plastered is very important to get rid of the plaster dust which collects in the bottom of the pool, and is easily vacuumed away.
You can begin swimming in your pool as soon as it fills with water and the chemicals have been balanced correctly.
Balanced water is important you’ll get years of service from your new pool plastering, and we’ll provide the first month of pool cleaning and maintenance free when we plaster your pool. This is critical to make sure your pool plaster stays strong.
